Kids In Sync

Intervention with Intention

At Kids In Sync we believe:

  • Every parent wants to do right by their child.

  • Every child has great potential.

  • Quality experiences lead to long term developmental changes.

  • Children require patience, compassion, respect and recognition in order to grow and develop into healthy and happy adults.

  • Every moment counts and acting with intention promotes health.

  • Mistakes and disruptions in our daily life are not times to self doubt and self shame...these are opportunities to repair and learn.

  • Secure relationships are not perfect. Secure relationships are those that can weather the storms of conflict and heal after. Secure relationships are reciprocal in respect, love and recognition of each other as an individual.

  • The small things in life matter the most.

  • Feeling safe in our environment and secure in our relationships with others is what allows us to meet the demands we face.

Our Intentions

“From early infancy, it appears that our ability to regulate emotional states depends upon the experience of feeling that a significant person in our life is simultaneously experiencing a similar state of mind.” Daniel J. Siegel

  • At Kids in Sync we intend to promote the individual health of the child and the health of the whole family.

  • We pride ourselves on nurturing a clinic space and a culture among our team that promotes healthy and cohesive collaboration.

  • We strive to support the parent/caregiver understanding of the child's unique developmental profile.

  • We dedicate our time to each child and their family as is necessary to meet their unique goals.

  • We rely on current sound science to inform us about child development and family dynamics.

  • We work with each family in a unique way that best supports that family culture and their unique needs.

  • We approach intervention deliberately and intelligently with the compassion and respect that each person deserves.

  • We work with outside team members and other providers (speech therapists, mental health providers, teachers, grandparents, babysitters/nannies) to support progress across environments and relationships.
