Information Regarding Health Insurance

Important Insurance Information: 

- We are in network with Blue Cross Blue Shield - BCBS

- All claims will be submitted and processed through your insurance carrier

- We collect patient fees (copay, coinsurance deductive, etc) after the claims have been processed. 

- Should your insurance carrier deny claims, we will collect from you directly. However, we will help you with appeals and provide any documentation necessary to ensure continued coverage.  

- Unfortunately we are NOT in network with other insurance carriers (United Healthcare, Cigna, Aetna, Tricare, Kidcare, Medicaid or any other third party insurance provider). Receiving services from Kids In Sync would be considered an out of network benefit and likely carries different limitations than in network allowances. We are happy to submit the claims for you but require payment at the time of service. We bill our clients monthly and require a credit card on file which we will charge at that time. 

- Please reach out to your insurance to verify benefits for outpatient occupational therapy.  Should you have any questions please contact us directly.

If you are not covered by BCBS PPO and would like to use insurance, here are some questions to ask your insurer before we meet:

  • Do I have out-of-network benefits for mental health services?

  • Do I need to meet a deductible before I can start obtaining reimbursement for out of network services?

  • If yes, what is my deductible and how far am I in meeting it for this calendar year?

  • What percentage of services will you reimburse for once my deductible is met?

  • What is the process to submit for out-of-network reimbursement?
